Introducing The Brand-New Marketing 360® Web App
March 1, 2020
In early 2020, Madwire® proudly launched the latest version of Marketing 360. With our eyes set on building the tech that small business owners need to successfully market and manage your business, our development team (SWAT Team) worked for more than a year on this brand new version.
Marketing 360 3.0 brings the same tools you know and love from previous versions, kicks out some that weren’t used so much, and added in a lot of new features and functions to make it exactly what you need to grow your business — especially from a digital perspective.
So whether you’re a small business owner who has a storefront, works locally in your community, or is entirely online, you can find the tools you need to Fuel Your Brand™ within Marketing 360.
Be Present with a Mobile-Friendly Website
Today, people turn to digital searches to find businesses that can help them solve their problems. Whether it’s a local service or a product to buy online, people are searching the web and want to see your website.
A website is like your 24/7 sales team, and it’s always working to represent your brand.
But you don’t just need any website. You need a website that looks good and functions correctly on any device.
61% of mobile searchers are more likely to contact a local business if they have a mobile-friendly website.
Everything digital starts with your web presence. Websites 360® makes it easy to build a site with no coding required. Plus, we create sites that are easy for your customers to use, work on any device, have incredible SEO and gorgeous design templates to get you started.
To create specific creative assets for your site and other marketing campaigns, you can leverage Marketing 360’s Creative app. Here you can use Banner Builder, a graphic design tool, to easily create and edit visual content.
If you’re not too interested in creating visual content yourself, you can always hire our team of talented pros to do it for you a la carte!
Ask for Contact Info & Record it in the CRM
Once you have a website and creative assets, the next step is to create an obvious place for visitors to convert into leads. The Forms app makes it easy to collect contact info on your website and then take action when users fill it out so you can grow your business. Forms can be embedded into your website on any page, and you can create different forms to track multiple marketing strategies.
When you activate the CRM app in Marketing 360, you unlock an easy way to store and manage contacts, deals, and project pipelines. Marketing 360 allows you to connect Forms to the CRM so that when someone fills out a form they are automatically added as a lead.
You can also upload contacts from a CSV or manually in the CRM so you have a full collection of your current contact list plus whatever new that comes through your website.
Add as many contacts as you need and customize the fields, statuses, labels, and more to make it fully functional for the way you manage your contact relationships.
A neat feature is the ability to sync CRM contacts into different lists that can be used for different nurturing marketing strategies using Marketing 360’s email app.
Nurture Your Contacts
You’ve worked hard to build relationships with the people in your CRM. Maintaining repeat customers is an important part of moderating marketing expenses. Simply, it’s easier to convince an existing customer to work with you again than it is to continuously find new customers.
Nurturing professional contacts should be considered in a way similar to how you nurture family and friends. You show up and you have a mutual respect. You listen and support, and you provide insight and value.
You can maintain this nurturing relationship with your business contacts using email and text messages. These tools are for communicating, which is a fundamental block in any successful relationship.
The nurturing software in Marketing 360 allows you to create one-time emails or texts to send to specific contacts, or you can curate content experiences that move your customers through a journey.
Journeys allow you to create the rules about your email or text, add the content (which includes a beautifully simple email template system), and turn it on!
Now you can build loyalty and communicate about your brand, send nurturing messages to tell your story, share sales and promotions, host trivia, and more. The possibilities are endless!
This brand loyalty is a fast and easy way to let your existing customers know that you care.
Streamline Core Business Info & List It
Now that you’re collecting contacts and nurturing them to keep in touch, the next step is to focus on brand consistency outside of your website and nurturing funnel.
People build trust in your brand when you are consistent. You can control the messaging when it’s directly on your website and nurture content. However, sometimes the public turns to different directory lists to look for info about your business, such as those on Google, Facebook, Top Rated Local®, or Yellow Pages. These directory sites accept customer input about business info. Now, it’s up to you as a business owner to make sure that info that customers see on these directories and websites is correct.
Consistent, streamlined contact information builds trust because the customer sees accurate and complete profiles wherever they search.
It can be daunting to update dozens and dozens of different directories, which is why a combination of Marketing 360’s Reputation and Listings apps help make the job easier.
These two apps allow you to set your core business information as truth and sync it with more than 50 different directories and websites across the net. That’s right. Type it once, and send it everywhere.
Who are you? Where are you located? What’s your phone number?
The Reputation app in Marketing 360 gets you started with a listing on Top Rated Local®, our online reputation management tool. This is then used as your source of truth to publish out to the different directories like Google My Business, Facebook, Yelp, Yellow Pages, and more using the Listings tech.
Once your business info is consistent across the web, you can trust that you are setting the foundation for a strong online reputation. A consistent, accurate presence matters greatly when building a community.
Another element to building a strong reputation online is to collect reviews. The reviews that previous customers post about your business become your 24/7 referrals. You can’t afford not to care about reviews.
The Reputation app makes it easy to request reviews and then take action when you get them.
With the app, you can reply to reviews left directly on Top Rated Local, challenge verification if you do not recognize the person who left a review did actually do business with you, mark reviews as private, and more.
This involvement in your reputation online speaks volumes to people who are considering doing business with you for the first time. It is one of the foundational pieces to creating a strong community, especially online.
Build Content & SEO Momentum
You’re working hard now. We can really feel the momentum moving. You’ve got your bases covered and some nurturing content that helps you keep in touch with your existing customers.
Now it’s time to take the next step to get in front of new leads.
Content marketing gives you a voice, and search engine optimization allows you to share that voice through the search platforms.
The Content app in Marketing 360 has a full-blown content marketing strategy. Whether you want to partner with our dedicated team of content marketing specialists to do the work for you, or you want to work on the strategy yourself, you’ll find that an authentic approach will be rewarding.
From technical SEO to on-going content marketing talking about your business, story, services, and products, content marketing is all-encompassing.
As you create content on your website and optimize it for search engines, you can monitor the success of pages, keywords, and more in the Content app reporting. Track organic growth for your favorite keywords and long-tail natural phrases, see which sources bring the most successful customers to you, and track the pages that get the best traffic and highest conversions.
Content marketing is powerful because these leads can help turn Content into the most affordable channel. You don’t have to pay the search engines or other social channels when the content is organic, meaning it fits what the searchers want. You’re not paying the channel to play. You earn your spot with authentic, high-quality content that meets the searcher exactly when they need you most: to answer their searches.
Content marketing is extremely valuable, but it can take quite a long time to earn that reputation with the search engines. It’s the long-haul and the equivalent to paying on your mortgage versus renting. Eventually, you’ll have a high return on investment, but it’ll take hard work and patience to get there. Like climbing a mountain, it’s worth the effort.
Advertise on Multi-Channel Search, Social & More
When you need leads and sales right away, you can always turn to multi-channel paid ads. These bring your brand instant visibility, but you have to pay to play.
Paid ads are so much more than just search marketing these days. And the Marketing 360 Ads app makes it easy to coordinate the many different channels that you may have active for advertising:
- Google (Search, Shopping, Display)
- Bing (Search, Shopping)
- YouTube
- Snapchat
- Waze
- Digital billboards
- Crowd Funding (Kickstarter, Indiegogo)
- Digital Radio (Spotify, Pandora)
With reporting tools that are all-inclusive of these multiple channels, you can immediately see what works and what doesn’t so you can increase views, engagement, and sales through the channels that are most successful.
Track Calls, Leads & Sales — Oh My!
The big picture with our newest iteration of Marketing 360 is to build a singular, powerful platform that helps small businesses grow. And one of the most important pieces to this platform is the Intelligence app that brings all of the leads, sales, calls, and reporting under one hood.
Intelligence is your hub to make, well, intelligent and well-informed decisions about your digital marketing strategy.
What’s working? Do more.
What’s not working? Stop that!
The Call Tracking tool inside Intelligence can be as much for understanding more about your customers that call you as it can be to better improve how you and your team manage calls as a business. Call Tracking uses a display number that can change dynamically depending on if the caller came to your website from a paid ad, social, organic, or more. This makes understanding call reports a dream.
You also have the option to record calls for quality assurance or not. Up to you! If you decide to record calls, you can listen back to get to know your customers, understand if it’s a good lead or not, and check in on best practices for your team answering phone calls.
If a customer would rather communicate through your website, you can track form submissions or people who have bought something through your shopping cart as part of the Leads & Sales Inbox in the Intelligence app.
In this inbox, you can track details such as lead/contact name, phone, email, what marketing program/channel/keyword the conversion came from, phone call details/recordings, and more.
Ultimately, Intelligence is the app that brings it all together.
